(The repair to his coin-arm shoulder is to all intents and purposes “invisible”)

I have tried to show this antique Cast iron mechanical banks very clearly with photographs of every aspect at every conceivable angle

CONDITION is exactly AS SHOWN = 100% COMPLETE and in full working order.

100% GENUINE vintage Pre-WW2 era bank (Possibly made BY Sydenham MacOustra, or possibly a period copy) but NOT a modern reproduction

He has been damaged and repaired. damage was around his shoulder of the coin arm, now almost invisible and PERFECT WORKING ORDER. Retains his original base plate pierced with many holes IN THE MANNER OF The prolific Sydenham MacOustra factory……But different in several respects

SHOWN BESIDE a more common-type of ACTUAL Sydenham MacOustra bank which is taller and has holes in back of his head that this TOP HAT wear-capable example was not made with

HAT is missing but the top of his head has a threaded hole ready to accept a hat….. if you can find one?

ONLY 1 BANK ON OFFER HERE , NOT 2 BANKS AS SHOWN IN 2 OF THE PHOTOS

Much of his paintwork seems to be retouched

100% COMPLETE and in full working order

Retains his original multi-holed base plate of THICK Cast Iron

AN **INTERESTING VARIANT** to add to a comprehensive Black person bank collection

**ONE I HAVE NOT SEEN BEFORE**

CIRCA 1930’s I would guess

This bank has NO “reserve” & a start price commensurate with what I feel HE IS WELL WORTH

You can use “Buy It NOW” option (BEFORE start-bid is MET) if you do find the bidding process overly-tedious ?

Approx 95% of ALL alleged “GNB” banks seen for sale are FAKES (Indian made) Modern COPIES sold by the unscrupulous to fool the gullible
