Description
Land Wars Era British 1856/58 Sword Bayonet and Scabbard. Sword Bayonet with Yataghan type blade these were used form 1856-1878 These were produced for Enfield .577 rifles by English manufacturer’s and the German Solingen trade. This Bayonet is a private purchase bayonet and is very hard to find. Bakelite grip with a checkered pattern. With very nice original scabbard that has been with Bayonet all its life.
Overall very good condition for age as pictured top collectors item.
