WW2 Japanese Sword and Scabbard Original sword and fittings This sword was in a collection I bought
Old Wakizashi blade put into WW2 Japanese sword fittings unsure when his was done possibly done during WW2 when families had swords and put them in WW2 fittings I don’t know I wasn’t there when it was made. Swords where thrown on the ground after a battle and put together with what ever scabbard so mismatched scabbard I would say.
The blade shows service use and tip fitting off scabbard is missing
