A very nice and hard to find Original Pre WW2 German 1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger maker marked Paul Weyersberg. Which makes this dagger very nice is the Regiment marks on the blade and the throat of the scabbard, This is what makes it rare and special worth further research on regiment.Traces of the original gilding left on the Sun Wheel(Sun Wheel first used in the German services in the 1920’s)
The grip is carved wood in the original blue Moroccan leather. The scabbard shell is also covered in fine blue Moroccan leather.
The scabbard has nickel mounts, attached to the scabbard is a nickel chain hagger.
I would rate the dagger in very good condition.
