WW2 German S 84/98 Bayonet and Scabbard. Metal work with the gray phosphate finished.
Both Bayonet and Scabbard maker marked Alcoso Werke (fnj) bayonet dated 1944 and scabbard dated 1943
Phosphate matalwork this type of finish on these bayonets were called the “Grey Ghost” bayonet.
The bayonet is in very good condition and scabbard shows it wear and service use.
