Description
Original WW2 German Hitler Youth Knife (HJ knife)
Dated 1937 RZ M7/27 Maker marked Puma, HJ Knife with its acid etched “Blut und Ehre!” (Blood and Honor!) motto on obverse of the blade.
The blade condition itself is in good condition very little corrosion or pitting.
The steel based nickel-silver plated hilt is in great shape! It continues to retain 90% plating coverage. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are in very good condition being secured by two steel rivets.
The scabbard has typical scratch wear seen on HJ scabbards but no obvious dents and whilst the leather belt loop and strap are dry and cracked it is in still good enough condition to rejuvenate if so wanted.
