Description
A very nice WW2 German Heer M42 single decal helmet. It is maker marked ET64 (Eisenhutten – Thale ) the lot number is 1923. placing its manufacture at mid 1942. The Heer decal is about 90% intact. I believe that the Liner and chinstrap are both original to the helmet, but rivets are loose .the liner has a soldiers name – E Becker written in on the left hand side . the chin strap leather is dry & has age cracks – would need some leather conditioner ,but in good condition for age. The helmet has all its factory paint, showing a lot of combat wear . with all the period wear , name & decal – this helmet would be a nice addition to any helmet collection
