WWII New Zealand Knuckle Fighting Bowie Knife
This is one of the rarest examples I’ve seen. The Bowie blade on these NZ fighting knives are few and far between, I have only ever seen one of them and this is it. Cast aluminium with check-grip handle. No markings on knife or blade.
This is what our New Zealand soldiers used in the trenches during the Second World War for close quarter combat, a wonderful piece of New Zealand history!
