Description
East India Company Cavalry Percussion 17 bore Pistol (1843 pattern).
This pistol has lock marked with VR crown with Tower, and a date of 1854. It is also marked on the wood with M Keen and JM which is more than likely the stock maker stamp. It has a lanyard ring and swivel ramrod. More than likely has had a few repairs over the years, but otherwise in very good condition for age. Hammer is working at half and full cock with a strong action. It has a collectors number on it, just above the trigger guard, which I have left on.
