Description
GB Crimea Medal 1854, three clasps, Inkermann, Balaklava, & Sebastopol, engraved PTE. URIAH. WINTER: RM: HMS. ALBION. The roll confirms the clasps to Uriah Winter. While at Balaklava he was twice court-martialed for being drunk at evening roll call. The Albion visited Wellington, NZ & the Albion Hotel there was named after it.
